ASU SUSTAINABILITY EXPO

A collaboration between Arizona State University and the
Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE)
October 5th and 6th, 2006

About the Expo

The ASU Sustainability Expo is a first-time event, held in conjunction with AASHE's 2006 conference: The Role of Higher Education in Creating a Sustainable World. Over 500 higher education sustainability practitioners are expected to attend, including administrators, faculty, staff, students, and higher education consultants, suppliers, service providers, and nonprofits.

The goal of the Expo is to expose the ASU community and AASHE 2006 conferees to vendors, programs, and resources that will assist them in their sustainability initiatives. The Expo will be held outside on the lawns of the ASU Campus (Cady Mall, Hayden lawn, and Student Services lawn).

Who Should Exhibit

The ASU Sustainability Expo seeks socially responsible and environmentally conscious business and non-profit exhibitors who are committed to advancing sustainability on college and university campuses. The Expo includes three major components:

1. ASU's Supplier Showcase - the annual Showcase has adopted a sustainability theme and will feature green products and services.
2. AASHE 2006 Exhibitors - includes consultants, architects, suppliers, service providers, NGO's, government agencies, and others involved in supporting campus sustainability efforts.
3. Regional Exhibitors - green and socially responsible businesses and nonprofits who want to get their message to the ASU community and AASHE 2006 participants.
