American College & University Presidents Climate Commitment Video Competiton
The American College & University Presidents Climate Commitment (ACUPCC) Video Competition has been developed to showcase creative strategies for communicating the ACUPCC across campuses and beyond.
It has been said that "communication is to sustainability what location is to real estate." Communicating goals and strategies with institutional and community stakeholders is a key component in achieving success. The ACUPCC Video Competition is a chance to share your institution's creative strategies for communicating the ACUPCC.
Without communication, collective action and collective participation will not happen.
This competition provides:
- the motivation to build collective awareness and action around the commitment;
- a way to show what’s happening at your school in communicating the ACUPCC;
- an opportunity for students and the campus community to be involved in building awareness of the initiative; and
- an opportunity to have fun and to be creative
Five selected videos will be highlighted and screened at AASHE 2008 on Monday evening November 10th. The selected videos will also be made publicly available on the ACUPCC and AASHE websites, providing exposure for your institutional efforts and sharing creative strategies to build awareness.
