Campus Sustainability Day VIIHEASC is excited to support the 7th Campus Sustainability Day (CSD) & Streaming Webcast taking place on October 21, 2009! Sustainability Strategies for Vibrant Campus Communities Wednesday, October 21, 2009 Join this national streamed webcast for Campus Sustainability Day on October 21st, hosted by Andy Revkin, science reporter for The New York Times. This program is for anybody involved in sustainability in higher education. Across North America, hundreds of campuses are reducing their environmental impact in their operations, developing curricula and educational experiences that address climate disruption, and incorporating the principles of sustainability into their strategic plans and core missions. Participate in this webcast to discover how these institutions are finding opportunities in the wake of budget cuts and providing the appropriate campus infrastructure and knowledge on how to finance, plan, operate, and manage low carbon, energy efficient campuses. Campus Sustainability Day VIHEASC is excited to support the Sixth Campus Sustainability Day (CSD) & Streaming Webcast taking place on October 22, 2008! Many colleges and universities have used CSD and the annual SCUP webcast to engage and educate their campus community's in reviewing their sustainability progress and to develop plans for the future. Colleges and universities are encouraged to create events on campus and elsewhere that draw participants for the exchange of ideas and knowledge among faculty, staff, students, and members of their local communities. For this year's webcast SCUP and The New York Times Knowledge Network will bring you a panel that includes renowned climate change expert Richard Moss of the World Wildlife Federation and Second Nature President, Dr. Anthony Cortese.
